Overview
There are three tiers for FLW Fantasy Fishing points: 2009 Walmart FLW Tour Angler of the Year Points, Bonus Points, and Exacta Points.

Angler of the Year points are the same across all FLW Tour events, but Bonus and Exacta Points depend on the specific tournament:

Lake Guntersville, 2/12-2/15/09 – double points
Table Rock Lake, 3/12-3/15/09 – single points
Lake Norman, 4/23-4/26/09 – double points
Beaver Lake, 5/14-5/17/09 – double points
Kentucky/Barkley Lake, 6/11-6/14/09 – single points
Lake Champlain, 7/9-7/12/09 – triple points

Points are recalculated each day of the tournament. Player’s Advantage members will notice this in the Real-Time Scoring section during the weigh-in on FLW Live, as they see their points change with every new weight. For those without Player’s Advantage, the daily points changes will be reflected in the final results at the end of each day’s weigh-in on www.fantasyfishing.com. So the points you have at the end of Day 1 will not be the same as the points you accumulate at the end of Day 2, or Day 3, or Day 4 – all points are variable based on the performance of your roster each day of the tournament.

TIER 1 – FLW Tour Angler of the Year Points
Anglers earn points for their finish place in each FLW Tour event. The formula for these points is: 200 points – finish place + 1.

So for a first-place finish, the score is 200 (200 – 1 + 1). For someone finishing in 100th place, the points earned is 101 (200-100+1).

TIER 2 – Bonus Points
Bonus points are awarded for anglers on your roster that finish anywhere in the Top 10 for a tournament.

Table Rock Lake and Kentucky/Barkley Lake (single points): 500 points are awardedfor each angler on your roster who finishes in the Top 10.

Lake Guntersville, Lake Norman and Beaver Lake (double points): 1,000 points are awarded for each angler on your roster who finishes in the Top 10.

Lake Champlain (triple points): 1,500 points are awarded for each angler on your roster who finishes in the Top 10.

TIER 3 – Exacta Points
Exacta points are awarded when you correctly rank an angler on your roster in the EXACT position they finish in the Top 10 of a tournament.

Table Rock Lake and Kentucky/Barkley Lake (single points):
1st place correct ranking – 2,000 points
2nd through 10th place correct ranking – 750 points each

Lake Guntersville, Lake Norman and Beaver Lake (double points):
1st place correct ranking – 4,000 points
2nd through 10th place correct ranking – 1,500 points each

Lake Champlain (triple points):
1st place correct ranking – 6,000 points
2nd through 10th place correct ranking – 2,250 points each

Example Roster: Lake Guntersville

Day 1 Results:
In this example, all three point tiers have been calculated after the first day’s weigh-in at Lake Guntersville. FLW Tour Angler of the Year Points have been applied. 1,000 Bonus Points were applied for both Brent Ehrler and Scott Canterbury’s Top 10 placements. No Exacta Points were awarded.

Day 2 Results:
After Day 2, only Scott Canterbury remains in the Top 10. In addition to FLW Tour Angler of the Year Points, 1,000 Bonus Points were awarded for Scott Canterbury. No Exacta Points were awarded.

Day 3 Results:
Only the Top 10 anglers from Days 1 and 2 go on to fish Days 3 and 4. So after Day 2, points will not change for anyone on your roster in 11th place or lower. After Day 3, Scott Canterbury has moved from 2nd place to 1st place, increasing the FLW Tour Angler of the Year points by one point (200-1+1). No changes to Bonus Points, and no Exacta Points awarded.

Day 4 Results:
After the Day 4 weigh-in at Lake Guntersville, Scott Canterbury’s finish place for the entire tournament is 8th – an exact match to his placement of 8th on the Fantasy Fishing roster. This earns the player 1,500 Exacta Points in addition to the 1,000 bonus points for having an angler in the Top 10. FLW Tour Angler of the Year Points have also been applied.
